My tupuna waka is Ngātokimatawhaorua, and I am a kaitiaki for Te Aurere

Tama Tu, Tama Ora, Tama Noho, Tama Mate.
3. What is your role and responsibility as the representative of your rohe on the Te Hau Kōmaru Board?
I see myself a a kaiārahi – Hikitia te kaupapa waka. I am also the representative for Te Tai Tokerau.
4. What do you hope to achieve?
He hiahia nōku ki te whakatika ngā mahi whakatere waka hourua me ngā mahi tarai waka hourua. I want to be able to support pathways of sailing and building waka hourua.
