1. What is your tupuna waka and the waka you currently are kaitiaki for? 

Ko Tainui tōku waka tupuna. He kaitiaki au mō Haunui waka. 

My waka tupuna is Tainui. I am kaitiaki for Haunui. 

2. What is your favourite waka saying? 

The role of the navigator is to look into adversity and find opportunity.

3. What is your role and responsibility as the representative of your rohe on Te Hau Kōmaru Board? 

I am a Trustee on Te Hau Kōmaru Board representing Te Tai Hauāuru region. I am also co-chair. 

4. What do you hope to achieve?

I hope through waka we can instill the values of aroha, whanaungatanga, manaakitanga and kaitiakitanga into our rangatahi.
